Lidded Goncolo Wood Turned Keepsake Box

Beautiful straight sided wooden lidded box turned from goncolo wood.  An exotic wood, goncolo has a lovely, rich color with dark streaks in the grain. This is a great little place for special items.

Measures 5 3/4" across x 4 1/2" high.

Segmented wood turned bowls are comprised of many dozens (if not hundreds!) of precisely cut, layered, and glued together pieces of wood turned on a wood lathe and sanded to perfect the end product. All wood used by this artist is natural (not stained) and either from local Northern Michigan trees or exotic species.
