Curly Maple Wood Turned Fruit Bowl with Wenge Wood Patterned Rim

Made from local curly maple wood with a contrasting wenge wood patterned rim, this bowl is designed to show off the beautiful, wavy grain of the light colored maple.  Can be used as a display piece, fruit bowl, or catch-all!

Measures 12" across x 3" high.

Segmented wood turned bowls are comprised of many dozens (if not hundreds!) of precisely cut, layered, and glued together pieces of wood turned on a wood lathe and sanded to perfect the end product. All wood used by this artist is natural (not stained) and either from local Northern Michigan trees or exotic species.
