Medium Size Butternut and Spalted Birch Wood Lidded Bowl

Wood turned bowl made from butternut with a spalted birch lid and dark walnut accents. Character of the woods offers a very unique pattern! Great for trinkets, keepsakes and as a decorative piece. This is a nice sized box and can sit on any table or desk!

Measures 7" across x 3 1/4" high.

Segmented wood turned bowls are comprised of many dozens (if not hundreds!) of precisely cut, layered, and glued together pieces of wood turned on a wood lathe and sanded to perfect the end product. All wood used by this artist is natural (not stained) and either from local Northern Michigan trees or exotic species.
