Lidded Wood Turned Bird's Eye Maple Pedestal Bowl

This is a wonderfully unique, hand-turned piece of bird's eye maple with a lidded, pedestal bowl design. This can be a stand-alone piece on a table or mantle, or can be used as storage for small items. 

Measures 5" across x 4" high.

Segmented wood turned bowls are comprised of many dozens (if not hundreds!) of precisely cut, layered, and glued together pieces of wood turned on a wood lathe and sanded to perfect the end product. All wood used by this artist is natural (not stained) and either from local Northern Michigan trees or exotic species.
