Aspen Wood Turned Lidded Box With Contrasting Ebony Accent

Created from very local aspen, a very light colored wood, this lidded box stands out with its dark, contrasting ebony wood accent stripes on the rim and lid. A great little container for keys, jewelry, special stones and more!

Measures 4.5" across x 8" high.

Segmented wood turned bowls are comprised of many dozens (if not hundreds!) of precisely cut, layered, and glued together pieces of wood turned on a wood lathe and sanded to perfect the end product. All wood used by this artist is natural (not stained) and either from local Northern Michigan trees or exotic species.
