Butternut and Goncolo Wood Turned Bowl

Made from local butternut with dark, exotic goncolo wood rim, this is a wide, low bowl, with numerous pieces arranged into an inviting array of wood grains.  Can be used as a display piece, fruit bowl, or catch-all!

Measures 14" across x 3" high.

Segmented wood turned bowls are comprised of many dozens (if not hundreds!) of precisely cut, layered, and glued together pieces of wood turned on a wood lathe and sanded to perfect the end product. All wood used by this artist is natural (not stained) and either from local Northern Michigan trees or exotic species.
