Jatoba Segmented Wood Turned Vase

Striking vase made from exotic Jatoba wood, also known as Brazilian Cherry. The deep red color is accented with darker wood trim on each segment, setting off the color and grain of the Jatoba. This is a really pretty piece for dried flowers or as a mantle or bookshelf anchor!

Measures 5" across x 9 1/2" high.

Segmented wood turned bowls are comprised of many dozens (if not hundreds!) of precisely cut, layered, and glued together pieces of wood turned on a wood lathe and sanded to perfect the end product. All wood used by this artist is natural (not stained) and either from local Northern Michigan trees or exotic species.
