Tulip Poplar Wood Lidded Keepsake Box

The tulip poplar wood used in this piece has a distinctive grain, and the knob, made of black heart, creates a striking contrast to the rest of the lid and body. Use as a jewelry holder, coin jar, or as a pretty display.

Measures 5.5" across x 5.5" high.

Segmented wood turned bowls are comprised of many dozens (if not hundreds!) of precisely cut, layered, and glued together pieces of wood turned on a wood lathe and sanded to perfect the end product. All wood used by this artist is natural (not stained) and either from local Northern Michigan trees or exotic species.
