Maple Wood And Mahogany Patterned Bowl

Beautiful, medium size bowl of maple wood and mahogany.  The light color of the maple is enhanced by slightly darker mahogany shapes. Great piece for a catch-all or to display important treasures.

Segmented wood turned bowls are comprised of many dozens (if not hundreds!) of precisely cut, layered, and glued together pieces of wood turned on a wood lathe and sanded to perfect the end product. All wood used by this artist is natural (not stained) and either from local Northern Michigan trees or exotic species.
