Segmented Goncolo Wood Bowl With Rounded Lid

This is a very unique segmented wood turned bowl, made from exotic goncolo, featuring a rounded lid to give a spherical appearance. Great for keepsakes, jewelry, you name it. It is a very pretty little piece!

Measures 5" across x 6" high.

Segmented wood turned bowls are comprised of many dozens (if not hundreds!) of precisely cut, layered, and glued together pieces of wood turned on a wood lathe and sanded to perfect the end product. All wood used by this artist is natural (not stained) and either from local Northern Michigan trees or exotic species.
