Segmented Wood Turned Beech Vase

The clear grain of the bottom portion of this segmented wood turned vase is classic beech. The top portion is comprised of spalted beech, which adds an interesting pattern and a bit of color - very unique! Perfect for dried flowers or as an accent piece.

Measures 5 1/2" across x 10" high.

Segmented wood turned bowls and vases are comprised of many dozens (if not hundreds!) of precisely cut, layered, and glued together pieces of wood turned on a wood lathe and sanded to perfect the end product. All wood used by this artist is natural (not stained) and either from local Northern Michigan trees or exotic species.
