It is far better than gold-plate, and the 14kt gold is guaranteed to be 5% of the overall metal weight. If treated correctly, it will always look like solid gold...so please remove GF jewelry (or any jewelry you care about!) before exercise, showering, swimming, applying makeup, etc.
