Beautiful, dark walnut vase with lighter maple and cherry accent stripe. The segmented wood turned process involved in making this vase showcases the grain of the native woods. Perfect for dried flowers or as an accent piece.

Segmented wood turned bowls are comprised of many dozens (if not hundreds!) of precisely cut, layered, and glued together pieces of wood turned on a wood lathe and sanded to perfect the end product. All wood used by this artist is natural (not stained) and either from local Northern Michigan trees or exotic species.
