White oak and walnut segmented wood turned box is beautifully crafted to look like woven strips. Walnut adds depth to the canister, and it is large enough to use for most any important treasure.

Segmented wood turned bowls are comprised of many dozens (if not hundreds!) of precisely cut, layered, and glued together pieces of wood turned on a wood lathe and sanded to perfect the end product. All wood used by this artist is natural (not stained) and either from local Northern Michigan trees or exotic species.
